Other than bringing them in to an outfitter I am unaware of a mthod that I could use at home to cut my arrows. Does anyone out there have any proven ideas?

Gotta get ’em cut… MN archery opener in 9 1/2 days… foam beginning to form around my mouth…

I have heard that if you have anything but an actual cutter used for arrows, the carbon will just split up the shaft, causing the arrow to fray

I’ve thought about trying to use a dremel w/ a fine cutting wheel, but I’m not sure how to get them cut at an exact 90 degrees?

First suggestion would be to have a bow shop do it. Second would to take a chop saw with a carbide blade on it. Wear eye and breathing protection when doing it, it does work I’ve done it. A pipe cutter won’t work on carbon. Hope that helps some.

Thanks Guys! I think I’ll just bring them to the local bow shop and have them done.

    Happy hunting!
