Quantum Kinetic PT spinning reels?

Has anyone else had a problem with the anti-reverse on these reels? I have 2 of them that I got this year (used maybe about 70-80 times) and about 2 weeks ago the anti reverse started missing intermittently. It would basically be like I had flipped the back reel switch (no thats not the explanation )it doesn’t happen everytime, but when it does it will often make 5 or more revolutions of the handle before it catches. I’m not trying to badmouth quantum, just wanted to see if anyone else had similar experience before I contact them about the problem.

Yes, I’ve seen this. I just returned another one last night as a matter of fact. I’m disappointed in this reel given the price point they are being sold at. Quantum typically is a good solid product, but they must have engineered this reel in haste?? I know it’s another $30.00, but you could step up to the Shimano Stradic….OK, done with my sales pitch….

As far as I’m concerned, its not just this reel but their whole line. I’ve owned 4 different Quantum reels in the past and they’ve all failed at the most critical times. I dont buy them anymore.
