Yea Dave, Can’t wait to get the new sled on the water. Got a Merc 75 4-stroke coming with it. Hoping I can get by without a kicker. Saturday Pool 17 was still dropping, but still up higher than normal for this time of the year. The bite was very slow unless you enjoy catching stripers. They were plentyful. Sunday, Pool 18 was the same. Several Tugs and Barges up by the Lock & Dam and along the Island. Water temp was 48 and it actually was pretty clean. The Corp has dropped the gates, so hopefully the bite will start to happen. You about ready to hit the water?

Yep ,Got most of the crops in and got a few pheasants on Sat ,now I need some fish to eat. I heard a good crappie report on 18 and a few walleyes at the dam .Planned on getting out today but felt lousy. Its a crime to be sick on the weekends! Hope your boat gets here soon . DV
