I’m always looking up stuff for different applications, interfacing and repair, and I run across interesting company specific things. If you have Garmin stuff some of this might be of interest to you. If the management don’t mind this can be a drop spot for any thing people come across.

To tell the truth, I don’t know. Most of my work on stuff for Devils Lake was been to try and support Bruce Samson, so that meant working with Lowrance Via Fugawi. My guess would be that the contours I have should export to a Garmin system too if Garmin uses tracks. Lowrance made it easy for me when they created the emulators of their units. I could test on them with out going out and buying one. I actually don’t have a Lowrance unit myself do to the fact for my mapping I use a Simrad. If your in the area and wanted to try some time I’d be more than happy to. I can check Fugawi more to see if theres a reason one way or the other.

The Lakemaster version for Devils Lake is missing some bays and areas that I fish. I think it is a good start but needs some work. I do not know if Garmin is planning to use that version or not. I for one would really like to have an accurate map of Devils Lake so I can beat Doc out there (just kidding Doc). But, I am serious about getting an accurate map of that lake.
