Just finished breaking in my new motor and went to change the engine oil and I can’t find the filter. I have done this before on other 4 strokes, but there isn’t that many places to look. I went through the entire manual and no where in there does it say anything about a filter. Is it possible that it doesn’t have one?

You should be able to see the filter when looking down from the top, but you will need to take the housing around the lower half of the engine off before changing the filter. I think the oil filter is on the right side of the engine, more towards the rear than the front. I have this precise motor and changing the engine oil/filter and lower unit lube is pretty easy. Shoot me a PM if you have any questions.
