I have a walk thru windshield boat. I wonder what ideas you all have had as to where you keep your net for handy but out of the way ready storage.
I see guys with the single consoles have them propped upright on the side of the console, that doesn’t appear that it will work with mine due to the walk thru.
    Any Ideas,
    Thanks.

If you ever need a new net….look at StowMaster…mine folds up and fits in the front compartment in my Ranger. I love it…it is totally out of the way while running and when I get to a spot I can pull it out quick and be ready to go.

A lot of guys just put theirs over the front seat in the boat and let the handle ride between the consoles so that is an option too.

    Satch,
Get yourself a plastic rod holder and mount it to the front of the passenger side of your dual console. If you mount it closer to the gunnel it will be out of the way and the net won’t knock your passengers hat off when you are running down the lake.

    Landing Nets

I just picked one of these up and I like it. Crossin Eyes idea is a very good way too.

I bought a new Frabill extenda net (thing extends like 10 feet I swear) and doesn’t fit anywhere in the boat. So I keep it in a rear rod holder with the net facing backwards, and the pole part pushed all the way through the rod holder down to the gunnel of the boat. It hasn’t fallen out yet even running 50 down the river on some rough days. But if you are by yourself it is a little hard trying to get it out of the holder while fighting a fish. So I take it out of the holder after running to the spot.
    Just my 2 cents.

I never have to worry about where to store the net… I’m always too busy using it to haul in fish…

I agree with Crossin Eyes, here is the one I use it works great.
