I’m having a fair day on the water not many fish so far but a couple of nice ones. Here’s my problem. 1st day on the water with my X102c within a few hours The temp readings are going wacky and reading anywhere from 49 to 11 degrees (I know it’s cold, but not that cold) and I lost the audio on the shallow water alarm. I plan on emailing lowrance tonight but I probably won’t get a response for a few days. Any Ideas? Thanks.

Water or moisture in the little speaker caused a temporary loss of sound on all the lowrance units I’ve ever owned. A day to dry out and everything worked fine again.

The temp reading sounds like a faulty temp sensor… or at least that’s the only cause I can think of off hand.

I’m glad to hear about the moisture problem fixing itself. I checked the pins right away, that happened on my last unit. It was working fine for about 3 hours and then just started dropping. I shut it off several times during the day and when I would turn it back on it seemed to start out at about the right temp but then would start dropping. Maybe it’s a moisture problem also. I’ll try it tomorrow and see. Thanks guys.

Just my thoughts but could it be either the ground wire or the positive wire not being connected tight enough…I sure have had my electrical problems this year…Electricty does some funny stuff…

    just a thought….
