I’m struggling with a leak at the overflow in my livewell. It seems to be leaking right at the fitting of the livewell to the overflow tube into my “not-so-dry” storage area. How do I fix this/where do I find the right parts. (Alumcraft 165 Magnum).

I’ve already tried silicone caulk, etc. Works for a while, but not long enough!!

This may not be what you are looking for but it may be a fix. We have an old fire truck at work and the tank leaked we tried all things to get it fixed. We ended up rino lining the inside and it stop. We have all kinds of pipes going in and out of it to go to hoses and stuff so maybe that may help ya PM me if you want more info.

Are you sure it is the fitting? Maybe the hose connected to it is loose and the clamp needs to be tightened. Is the livewell cracked where the fitting is attached? Maybe just replace the fitting or get some rubber gasketing you can cut to fit the opening in the livewell.

Have you tried JB Weld or Marine goop?? Those are the first things that came to my mind that I have laying around the garage some place.
