Charger/Battery wiring

I’m hooking up a new 24V trolling motor, batteries and charger for a buddy and was wondering about to proper way to wire it. It’s a 24V motor, 2 new Cabelas AGM batteries and a Minnkota 2-bank/10 amps per bank charger. I’ve got the motor and batteries wired correctly, motor pos to battery #1 pos, motor neg to battery #2 neg, and batt #1 neg to batt #2 pos. Do I hook up the charger leads normally-1 set to each battery, or do I have to wire the charger with a jumper wire between batteries as well?
    Thanks,
    Ingy

Just finished up wiring my Minnkota three banker today.

P to P….N to N on each battery.

My question is why don’t they make the leads from the charger with quick disconnects? They don’t want you to put the charger in with the batteries…so you have to drill a hole…but with the battery connecters already on…you have to drill a larger hole than needed….

What am I missing…beside someone to install the damn thing for me?!

I just installed my 3-bank last weekend. The fun of crawling around running wires and soldering joints. Scratching your head and wondering where to mount it. Going to Fleet Farm to buy SS screws. Then going back to buy wire that you though you had. Nice to see all the lights light up when your done.
