I finder h20 software problem.

    to everyone with the ifinder h20, do not down load the software update from lowrance dated 03-08-2005. ver 1.3. you will not be able to use your navionics chips with it. it is a problem with the software code. they will be offering a new update some time soon fixing this problem. if you already have ver 1.3 if you contact them they will e-mail ver 1.2 so you will be able to use your maps until they get the new update out. if you do not use the maps it should not be a problem. good customer service at lowrance. they diagnosed the problem quickly.

    Do you know of any similar problem corresponding to lakemaster chips?

    it is unkown at this time. the lowrance guy told me that i was the first one to call with this problem. they assured me that they will get it taken care of quickly. i would think that if you go on their website and see a software upgrade dated after 3-8-05 that they will have taken care of the problem.
