Cabelas rods

    Anyone tried the Cabelas Pro guide or Tourney trail rods?I see they have a buy one get one free sale at Owatonna store.

    I just bought a pro-guide 6′ M IM6 and a cheaper shimano reel. Only fished with it once. It fished well, but I can’t give you too much feedback since I only used it once. I do have a 5’6″ UL for gills and I love that thing. I generally fish with the Cabela’s XML’s, and I really like those! (they are buy 2 get one free…always)

    I Have one of each and love them. Broke tip off one last spring walk in recived a new one with no hassle. They really have a nice feel and very sensitive. Told a buddy about them, so he went out and bought one also and said it was the best rod he ever owned. Very good deal on them now. For the money you will be happy. Just my 2 cents.
