Looking to get a spinning reel that is smooth, non binding, manages small line well, casts well, and is reliable. What do you guys like ?

shimano sedona 750 for an ultralite reel. But I personally like a little bigger reel cause most of my ultra lites are 6′-6” to 7 so I use a shimano symetre 1000 but they are discontinued in that size now. Some places on the net still have them and the other day when seaching cabelas.com I notice they had them for $60 bucks on close out. Regular price is $80. I personally will buy the new sized symetre 1500 once I cant get the 1000 anymore.

Okuma Trophy Pro, size 15 is a light. 9 ball bearings, super smooth, very tight anti-reverse, great drag system, mostly aluminum, excellent quality – only $49.99. Can’t beat it for price and quality. Also comes in sizes 20 and 30, each slightly larger than the previous one.

    Good Fishing,
