OK on my 2 man frabill I have noticed a few pinholes where the tarp rubs the pivot point metal of the bar flip (hope this makes sense)
Anyhow I was considering taking some canvas and sewing some reinforcement patches on both sides just to stop this from happening.
My question is can I sew the frabill material? I do know someone who can do it with an industrial sewing machine.

I HAVE A FRABIL 2 MAN ALSO. I HAD ONE OF THE SEAMS COME UNDONE. I USED FIRE LINE TO SEW IT BACK TOGETHER. THIS HAS HELD UP FOR 3 SEASONS NOW. I THINK YOU SHOULD BE ABLE DO SOMETHING WITH PATCHES AND IT SHOULD HOLD UP ALSO.

No, really! Works great. Go to any Target, K-mart, Wallgreens and go to the area where they sell the sewing stuff. The patches come in packs of 6-8. Sometimes in differents sizes. Most the right size to patch a knee in a pair of jeans. Just clean off the area on your cover and iron it on. Done in less than a minute. Works great to reinforce corners too. Also works on boat covers.

fabric glue works very well also. you can get it at any craft or sewing store. that way you can use black canvas as a patch, if thats what color your shack is. i think think that the glue holds better than the iron on glue. it dries in about 10 minuets at room temp….tom f
