Just an FYI I was in Sportmart in Des Moines tonight and they had a meridian gold GPS on clearance for $149.00. Regular $249.00. Pretty good price if anyone is looking. Does anyone own one that could give some feedback??
I have a Meridian Gold and love it. And yes I paid the higher price. Snap it up for that cheap amount. 
I have one as well. I love it. One nice feature if you use it in your vehicle is with the rubber case is you can stick it in your window just how it is. Without buying any holder for it. Also having the chip is great. The only down side is the screen doesn’t read when it is real cold. If you keep it in your pocket it works like a charm for ice fishing though.
