LEAKY OUTBOARD

    I have a 15 hp Mercury 4 stroke. It has been idle in the garage for about a month. I have noticed oil leaking from the prop area. Is this normal or should it be reason for alarm. Let me know

    If you ran it at slow speed (trolling) before you put it in garage it is probably just exhaust. I found that when trolling a lot, you really need to run the motor hard for a bit afterwards to clean the emmisions out.
