Just curious what everyone prefers in bows and accessories? Maybe some pro’s and cons of different things they’ve tried. Since I’ve got the itch to ventilate something this weekend!!

I currently shoot a Diamond Machete bow with a Vital Bow Gear drop away rest and plain jane Cobra sight. I shoot Carbon Express arrows tipped with 100gr Thunderheads. My setup is average for speed (260 fps) but shoots awesome. I sold my Matthews bow to get this one. The best investment I made was the drop away rest. That alone has helped me be more consistent and tighten my groups. Come on Saturday

You sold your Mathews????? WOW never heard of anyone shooting anything else after they’ve had one. My fiancee was kind enough to buy me the Mathews Outback this year. I have Vital Bow Gears – proslide sight, Trophy taker dropaway rest and Gold tip arrows, tipped with Rockets Hammerhead 4 blade. I think she expects me to go thru with the marriage thing. That’s ok I like bribes I have a buddy that just bought the Hoyt X-tec and he loves it. Not sure of his set-up tho

I shoot a Mathews FeatherMax set at 60# with Carbon arrows and Muzzy 3 blade broadheads. I use a roller release and have a 3 pin fiber optic sight on it.It is a few years old but I love the bow because of its easy shooting and great accuracy, not to mention that it is “short and handy”. I bought it from Marty at Archery HQ in Rochester and have had nothing but great service from him.

Mathews Q2 for a couple years now. Since I switched to Mathews my confidence has increased a lot. Now when I draw I feel like I am holding my 30-06.

    Well worth the money

I bought a Bow Tech Extreme VFT last year and love it. Fast and quiet.

    I second that.
