So what brand of planner boards does everyone use and what do you like about the brand you use over other brands?

We use the Off Shore inline planner boards. They are durable and have lots of options such as the tattle tale flags, the different tension clips for it or the new quick snap release they came out with last year. The tattle tales are junk for deep diving cranks. Can’t tighten the spring up on the flag enough.
Available at most sporting good stores.
My husband carry’s about half dozen boards in the boat at all times.
Hey Bobber, how does that sound??!!

off-shore is what I use; along w/ the tattle flags. When using larger cranks I use larger springs. only takes a second to change.

Yeah, I understand the idea of heavier springs, but it defeats the purpose of the tattle tail, it was to let you know when you had a small fish or weeds on the bait. That’s what I was told by one of their Pro Staff. Might as well not have them then!
With heavier spring on deep cranks i’ve towwed 15″ fish around never tripping the flag.

built my own out of cedar. couldn’t find any on the market that were big enough to handle muskie baits. it took a little trial and error, but after a few different concepts i think i have them down. the best thing about them is they only cost about $10 a piece in material and about a hour to put together. and do they catch fish!

Crop and size your pic and save it in your computer..remember 450 pixels on it’s largest side.

The name of the file can not contain any spaces or characters like @ # * .

Once saved to your computer go in and post a message in the forum of your choice.

After your post is typed in leave the box checked that says “I want to preview my post and/or attach a file”

Then there will be a box marked “browse” click this and it will take you to “your computer”

Select the picture you want to post by clicking on it, this will put the picture in the browse box…

Click continue and your all done….

I’m with Scott, no TT Flags. I do upgrade the front clip to the OR-18 Snapper release.
