    Any way to twist the head of a transom mount trolling motor?

    There are screws under the head. Loosen them and check to see which way the head seems to turn the easiest and turn it that way so there is the least amout of pressure on the wires inside and turn it and then tighten the screws. You will then have more speeds and power for backtrolling.
