Do you own a LOWE BOAT?

    any of you own or know someone that has a 16.5 lowe sc v bottom aluminum boat.

    i would like to know the pros and cons of that model 2000 to 2004 year.

    i was looking at the 16.5 fm sc model with 75 hp (maybe a e-tec outboard).

    any response would be great,thank you.

    For 2004 in you opinion who makes the best fishing boat?(16.5ftlong,aluminum,sc,75hp max,etc.)

    My brother has the Lowe FM 165 with a 50HP Four Stroke Yamaha on it. He does alot of trolling on Winnebago, Poygan, Petenwell. He is pretty happy with it, I have fished out of it, it is good for 2 guys, 3 is a little tight. Trailers easy and is easy to launch.Factory setup is adequate trolling motor, etc. But should consider upgrades. I have the FM 175 with 90HP Yamaha 2 stroke, alot more room but the higher sides catch a lot more wind.

    Since that last question doesn’t include Lowe I’ll say that I run a 2001 Lund Mr. Pike 16 [16.6 ft.] with a 90 hp and love it. Nice wide boat with IPS hull for smooth ride and lots of room. Very well built boat with lots of goodies.
