Anyone have any experience with one? I was thinking about getting one for myself for fathers day.

I know, it probably won’t work for weighing a keyboard.

After fishing a few tournaments without a balance or scale, and having to make judgment calls based on looks, I bought one. It never leaves the boat and has always worked well. I really like how they come with cull tags and have the ability to save your fish as your cull tag number. You basically know what you weigh before you get to the scale, which for guys who aren’t good at math (me) it’s really nice!

I have one and I love it. They seem to be pretty accurate. If you’re going to use it for tournament fishing its a huge time saver and no more culling the wrong fish. I use mine in conjunction with numbered cull pins. The cull tags that come with the scale are a joke. Be sure to find a safe place to keep it. I broke the screen on my first one and they do go through batteries but its a small price to pay for the convenience for tournaments.

I have the 50 lb one, love it and its accurate within .02 lbs. We’ve considered using one here for our electrofishing surveys due to its accuracy.

I plan on using it for bass, walleye, small pike and possibly panfish. 50# won’t cover the catfish I catch.

Thanks guys that was all I needed. I don’t need the culling accessories though, but when it cost less than the #15 non tourney edition, I figure why not.

Sorry Chris, I’d love to get it from you but it is too far…unless the gift certificate I won didn’t expire.

Funny story. The scale arrived yesterday +$7.99 shipping. I ordered the 50# regular touchscreen.

So I did a reorder and will drop off the one that I got at a FleetFarm. Basically, the $35 tourney edition will end up costing the same as had I picked it up at the store, even though they were sold out the last time I was there. But that is what gave me the idea to get one.
