Terrova temp

Does the Terrova have a temp sensor in the transducer? I have a Lowrance Gen 2 HDS7 connected to the motor and everything works fine except there is no temp reading.

With lowrances you have to manually go into the settings and turn the temp on. As long as the terrova has US2 it has temp.

Do I need to adjust the settings for my Humminbird to. Tried hooking my 788 up to it and the depth readings where off and back ground clutter was terrible.

How about DI and that internal transducer. Will they work together. Thanks for any help.

Sounds like you have interference. Did you hook the bow locator directly to starting battery and not accessory leads?

The 2 wont work together. It will cause interference. If running a di I would only use the di ducer.

It is hooked to the starting battery. Wondering if maybe I got the wrong cable to hook it up. Not sure if there is more than one cable for birds? Ended up just running the old transducer cable up tot he front of the boat. I like the DI much more than the regular setting anyways.

Mike,looks like HB has a power cable with a choke built in for this problem.
