    I need 2 series 31 batteries.

Saw Cabela’s AGM series 30 on sale for $169.99 less 30% kickback in points. That makes it $118.99 each. Seems like a smoking good deal. That is $120 off the retail price!!!!!

If it’s too good a deal, something is usually wrong…anybody have experience with these?

Or do you have another recommendation in the same price?

    Thanks!

Not familiar with those… but I remember they were mentioned in threads in the past that you may be able to search for. I always thought the conversations mentioned them in a good light.

With a weekend, you may not get the feedback you would over mid-week.

I just bought some non agm batteries and paid that much. I think as long as you don’t mind the extra weight, they are a great deal.

This is a super deal on a very good battery

I have had a set in my warrior since july 2005 — yes they take longer to charge now, but still hold a charge all winter — I have no on board charger — just charge them as soon as I can each time after use

never leak, freeze, or corrode — only draw back is the posts

but once you get them hooked up — forget about them

I got another set two years ago and they were not as good of a sale as NOW — I got the 27’s

SO do you think I like them

seeing this price I might have to do a road trip — price for two 27’s — 280 bucks minus 30% (84 bucks) that’s less then a 100 a piece

1st set of mine would B a little over 20 bucks a year

That’s my thinking too–a must have for my Warrior. The size 30’s will be awesome trolling batteries.

And they will ship them to my door for $8 each.

I was just At Rogers today, that deal is online only. They were regular priced in store.

Since we are on the subject, how many of you run a 4th battery just for your electronics? I had issues lately draining my one year old batteries plus agm battery with two hbirds and all other electronics connected to my cranking battery. I’m considering getting a 4th just for electronics.

Wow, my bad for getting caught up in on-line errors. The Cabela’s folks apparently made an error about 30% off. It happens.

I should have done more homework before posting here. Sorry boys.
I may still consider the batteries though.

I don`t see the AC Delco Voyager batteries around anymore.
I had one that lasted 10 years. They were very good.

Last Saturday my dad and I went to Cabela’s to pick up batteries and a few other things. They didn’t have group 30’s in stock so one of the electronics guys and my dad went to a kiosk and ordered them and also paid online right in the store.

Tim, we run a 4th battery just for electronics. It’s probably over kill but it’s nice to have a dedicated battery. A group 24 is plenty.

According to a post on the mille lacs forum, some people have stopped shopping at cabelas since they have partnered with the casino in a business venture.
