I have a nice Eagle trailer under my boat that is beginning to show its age after 12 seasons of use. One fender is bent after a blowout. Both fenders have small rust holes plus the cross members are sand blasted pretty good.

I’d like to have the trailer painted with the “tuff coat” stuff. Is there a shop around the Twin-City area that works on boat trailers that you would recommend?

    Can’t help…

But if that Tuff Coat stuff is anything like the material Linex uses in a bedliner, I think that would be great. Seen a trailer with it at a recent sports show, and that will be my choice for sure when the time comes.

You might want to check out a powder coating place. I think it’s a lot more chip resistant.
