Mounting bracket for Powerdrive V2?

Guys. I’ll be installing a used MinnKota Powerdrive V2 (my Dad’s old one) this Spring on the bow of my 16-foot Crestliner tiller. It doesn’t have a mounting bracket. I see in stores there are a couple different options. One appears to be pretty basic, another has sort of a lever to pull out for easier detachment. I will need to easily remove the motor. Just wondering if you have any thoughts on how these brackets work. If you have one you really like, can you note what the model/serial number is so I look at the right kind?

I would suggest the MKA-21 bracket myself!!

Get the RAM support bracket too.

Like Eric said go with the MKA-21 but then add on the RAM stabilizer mount for the head. He installed both on my boat and have been very happy with them.

guys, could one of you include a link to the RAM support you’re mentioning? Not sure I’m following what you’re referring to. Thanks. Or just PM me.

Ah. I see. Thanks. Not quite sure that would work on my small boat – as I recall the motor head doesn’t really hang over a convenient spot to attach the mount. But I’ll take a look.
