Marcum Transducer Question

I’ve been saving points from my Cabelas Visa for quite a long time, finally cashed them in on a Marcum LX9. I am super stoked to put this unit to work. One concern I have is the transducer looks like it was dragged on the concrete right out of the box. Is this merely cosmetic or will it cause any problems. I’m thinking that I should exchange it, would you?

I would for sure, they’re customer service is great and for that kind of money why not.

I have a LX5 and mine was a little rough on the bottom also. Just give them a call, I think that is the thing to do I’d say

I would bring it back to cabelas and demand a new unit. If they say no then make them show you another lx9 ducer to prove to you it’s how they come. I have always had good customer service when it come to cabelas. My guess is there will be an exchange no questions asked.
