Miinkota v2 55lb acting up.

Tuck’s trolling motor not working correctly. It will steer ,but prop will not turn. We can hear the click sound from the relay on unit ,but no go . Any ideas? Need to get this fixed quick.

Maybe try reseating the plug a few times
and check for any corrosion on the contacts.
Check how many lights on battery test
before and after above.

Mine does the same. Check the plug or power connection. If I mess with the plug, it will begin to work properly.

Sounds like you may have sheared a pin on the prop. Happened to me on the carp boat. Walmart carries the replacement kit for a very reasonable price. Good luck

Mine did the same thing this fall. New board. Think it was $125 and about 20 minutes not including drive time to get the part. Fish electronics had the boards.

Did that bypassing the board. Thats how I figured out what it was.

Update. Tuck sick this morning so we are not fishing turkey combo .Jumpered around board and prop tuns so looks like bad board. Thanks guys! Oh we found walleyes in 18ft of water
