Looking for a new Depth/ sonar gps??

    I’ve been looking at the Lowrance Elite 7 hdi or the Lowrance HDs 5 gen 2. It will be my main sonar and looking at which one will better fit me. I mainly bass fish and will use it for deep water cranking and shallow water fishing.

    My choice between the 2 would be the elite 7. Put one on my Dads boat at cabin it’s great for the money.
    Only down fall I see would be if you wanted to add another unit, the elite 7 can not be ethernet connected to another untit.

    You still can connect them with a NMEA cable!
