We’ll this is an interesting problem, I turn my trolling motor on I ony get one speed, top speed, as fast as it goes, I tried unplugging it for 10 minutes, it makes no difference if I hook up the co-pilot or the pedel, seperately,I’ll be one the water again by 6:30am and having only one speed it going to hurt my boat control big time. Anyone know how to fix this?

Hmmmm, this looks bad, I found one similar post on google, someone said the board is blown, that sounds cheap.

Umm, Mr. Rider? I tried a few years ago to fix a switch on a MNKota…..

PS I doubt that this will work, but put a couple shots of wd40 in the backside (if you can) of the switch….can’t hurt.

Yeah, but I don’t thinkit’s anything to do with a switch, unlees I’m mistaken, it does it both with my co-pilot and my pedal.

I’ve had good luck calling MNKTA’s service dept. Sometimes you have to be a little persistant as to being able to talk with a tech. It helps to have a vom. If you are really nice to them, I’ve had them send me the part for me to install myself. Although these were covered under warrenty…

Sounds like I’m correct, it’s a board, i need to have replaced, and I’d like to have it in by tomorrow, so that leaves me the choice of installing it myself, after my 4 hour trip to mankato… and $65…
