under water camera cord length

    Anyone know if any underwater camera manufacturer offers a camera with a cord length over 100 feet? Is there any way to add length to a camera cord?

    John, I asked about this a year or two ago. I was told there would be too much signal loss to just replace an 80 with a 100′.

    Crap-ola.

    Maybe that’s why the industrial strength models that have 300 ft cords cost $2200.

    In speaking with Marcum folks a while back 75′ was about max for the tech used recreationally.
