Just took out my Lowrance elite-5 for the first time today. I was trying get the unit to show the actual depths on the contours but couldn’t seem to find out how to do it even after reading the manual. It only shows the lines. This was on P2 today and it shows the WD’s nice but no depth reading.
Does anybody know how to set up my unit to also show the depths with numbers??

I seem to remember hearing it was part of one of the updates you can do. I believe it was in the lowrance forum.
Did you try zooming in closer?
Sometimes i don’t believe the depth contours don’t show until you zoom on more
I would be suprised if I needed an update as I just purchased the unit but maybe I do. Tried zoming in and it doesn’t add the depth numbers.
I was at a sporting goods store when I first saw that glitch.
The elite 7 would show the lines and numbers but the elite 5
would only show the lines. That was about a month ago. You
may have to call Lowrance or stop at a store that has a
display to see if there has been a fix.
