I finally had my guide wear fail on me! This past week fishing prior and during the Wave Wacker on Mille Lacs. I had a slight thread tear in the crotch area on my guide wear bibs. This caused them to take in major water! Bad deal……..well I took them back to Cabela’s this afternoon and they did not fully replace them, but they did give me a $100 off a new set of bib’s. My old bib’s were 8-10 years old and VERY WELL worn………I left Cabelas happy for the service and warranty provided.

The elastic suspenders have given out on mine. I’ll “ask” them if they know of some place to repair them. If they give me some bucks off on a new set, I’ll go with it.
I forgot to mention that they would have replaced the jacket also for $100 off! I told them that the jacket was still ok……no problem! I maybe should have jumped on that offer? But than I like the jacket….and want to see just how long it will last! I plan to write the date in the jacket and new bib’s………let’s see what they are like in 5-6 more years?
