I am looking at buying a new 2 bank charger, currently looking at the Minnkota MK 220D 2 bank 20 amp Charger.

My question is .. can anyone recommend any other brand of charger other than a Minnkota charger.

Keep in mind I HATE Fords ! so lets not turn this post into Chevy Ford post

Thanks for any and all input, Jeff

I’ve had both Dual Pro and Minn Kota and would recommend either one. Have been running a Minn Kota three bank, 10 amp per bank for 7 years with no problems. Batteries charge up nicely over night and they stay maintained if left plugged in for an extended time frame. Just make sure to check the water in batteries occasionally if you have that type of battery.

My Cabela’s Advanced Anglers ProSeries has been good to me.

I use Guest chargers exclusively. I have 3.

When you mention two bank is that for a 24 volt trolling system? If it is I would recommend going to a 3 bank to include the starting battery. With electronics running and livewells the big motor will never keep the starting battery up to snuff.0These new motors draw some juice all the time sooooo 3 would be the way to go.

My vote goes for Dual Pro.

I am talking 12 volt batteries,I have a pair of group 31’s for my 12 volt trolling motor.I have no problems with charging my start battery when needed.

    Thanks for all the input
