I want to add a 6″ manual jackplate to my 176 Triton to gain a little more speed. What measurement do I use as a base line for setting up the motor height? Because the motor gets slid back do I keep the cavation plate the same height as without the jackplate to start with the adjustments slots set so I can move iether up or down? Any other reccomendations?
