I need a bimini top to keep the sun off of my daughters and wife, problem is I have a double bubble boat so the top wont snap onto any windshield. Anyone reccommend a top? Can you keep the top up while clipping along say 30 mph? Boat is an Alumacraft Dominator 175 sport.
I wish I had a pic of mine. A bimini that floats over windshield. Speed is no issue. Shades the cockpit for a much cooler and enjoyable time. Best thing I ever bought when we wend on boating vacations and were in the boat most of the day. Something like this although I am not advocating this site. I just found it for this purpose. Mine is just like the one pictured.
I bought a 4 bow 6 foot high by 8 foot for mine. It has front an rear straps that I attach to the front and rear cleats when in use or it drops back and sets on the rear deck in a boot. If I do not want it on, I pop the quick release pins and leave it in the garage. I can run with it up unless it is very rough, then you need to hold on to the bimini bar to prevent the side wiggles.

I went with this and have had it for over 6 years. Still works well. Good up to about 30 mph depending on weather/windy conditions.

I will tell you that I am looking into buying some rigid pole supports to use at times other than the straps.
