hood question

    I have a 2011 merc 115 optimax and the latch on the hood comes loss on its own does anyone else have this problem I am afraid it will fly off going down the road or across the lake

    if it’s a 2011, it might still be under warranty. If so, I’d let my dealer take care of it. Otherwise, there are a couple of screws that hold the internal latch in place, make sure those are tight.
