Just in time for the spring crankbait bite on the river!

Dean Marshall, Anglers Guide HQ’s in-house rod guru, goes in-depth into how to pick the right spinning rod for casting light crankbaits.

Got to give my new tidemaster a try this afternoon. That is a fantastic crank-bait casting rod. Much less effort to cast those cranks than my old rods. My walleye elbow sure was enjoying it today. Not bad for long lining either.

Mike , great to hear the rod is working for you. Good to hear the fish are cooperating too !

Ordered my Tidemaster from AGHQ after watching this video. Paired it with 2500 Stradic, and 10LB PowerPro Super Slick. Need it to double as a long lining rod from time to time.
