Solar Mint Sensation?????

    I very wise man taught me how to pitch jigs on the river this spring…………

    He even gave me the fine details of how to set it all up and taught me how to work what jig types and sizes when…………

    He even went to the extreme of teaching me what size line and color to buy………..

    BUT I’M CURRENTLY PULLING OUT THE LAST FEW HAIRS ON TOP OF MY HEAD TO FIND THE TRILENE SENSATION IN THE HI-VIS GREEN COLOR……………..

    Tried Bass Pro, Cabelas, Gander, even Walmart…………

    Ain’t there…………

    Don’t they make this stuff anymore??????

    The only thing I can find is Iron Silk for Hi-Vis green……….

    Alright James…………what the Hades is going on around here!!!!!

    Gary,I have been having the same problem,so I called BERKLEY at 1-800-237-5539 and they said they still sell it.The lady on the phone told me that a guy could order it dirrectly from them.

    Here are your choices as of now.You have Hi-vis Sensation or Hi-vis Iron Silk.They do not make Trilene Solar anymore.There is Sensation all over NW Iowa,infact I sent some to Dave Koonce earlier this year.It is a great line.

    The only place I have been able to find that line In a retail store is at Mills Fleet Farm. If they are out I have ordered it direct from Berkly on the site Tom posted a link to. I am really surprised they have not taken it to the next level and put it in Bass Pro, Cabelas and Gander Mountains . For some reason they keep pushing the Iron silk like it’s going out of style or it’s the best thing in the world . I am not very fond of the Iron silk and would purchase plain old XT if given a choice between the two

    Fleetfarm in Lakeville always has a bunch… as long as I’ve not been there in a couple weeks or better. Besides Fleetfarms I’ve not seen that line carried anywhere else.

    There is a bait shop on LBDN that still has Solar XT from last fall in 4#,6#, and 8# 330 yd spools. I would be glad to pick some up and send it to IDA members.

    AH!!!! FleetFarm…….The “Man’s Mall”……….. Should of known to go there………..”If they don’t got it, you don’t need it”………….

    James/Dustin. What is wrong with Iron Silk? You both said you don’t like it very much. What are the draw backs and what is the difference between Iron Silk, XT, & Sensation?

    Oakdale FF has plenty. Well that is until a post here on IDA pops up and then the rack clears out pretty fast.

    I second what Dustin said. When I respooled this spring the only place you could find it was Mills Fleet Farm.

    I bought some solar mint sensation and I found it to be refreshing and kept my breath fresh for hours.
