Recording with Marcum VS 825 sd on a downrigger?

    Ok Guys,
    I have a Marcum VS 825 SD and nothing else for recording. What things do I need to get? I would like to be able to record from a downrigger also while Salmon and L. Trout fishing. How would I go about that? Ideas? Links for equipment needed? Suggestions?
