I’m setting up a tiller & want to add my LX-7. Boat has Terrova w I pilot on bow. Lowrance HD7, Gen 2 w LSS. I plan to fish 25% slow trolling w Terrova, 25% big motor trolling, 25% drift & 25% anchor. I’m leaning towards mounting next to HD7 at helm & run ‘ducer to bow mount. My theory? Marcum, then hook ‘m. If I don’t like it or worse yet its ineffective, it won’t take much to change.
Thoughts?
Sounds like it will work great for fishing steeper breaks and undulating breaklines! I like to watch the bow and if the bow starts getting too deep or too shallow, you can make a quick correction to keep the rear (where you are fishing) on track. If it doesn’t work the way you like, put it on the back and use it for your 2d while running Side/mapping or combo of choice!

That looks like a tin boat…. 
The Gold Wing nor Jeep will pull the over priced Ranger…. Couple bucket list items.
The good thing is that they can all catch fish
