This is for all of you guys that have the humminbird and the Ilink terrova all set up. Now that you have had a chance to get out and use this what are your favorite features. What do you use and does it work. What are the flaws of the unit that you can see if there are any yet.
My main complaint so far is the remote battery life sucks. Can pull it off the charger in the morning and before days end I have had it be dead already.
Also remote is a bit on the big and heavy side and would be nice if the left and right turn arrows were on the top row of buttons like the GEN 2 to make them easier to find in the dark.

I was just wondering, do you need the remote to use the follow track or contour feature? Or can you manually enter start/stop on the head unit?
I just got one a few weeks ago and I haven’t had a chance to get it hooked up yet 
I do it right off the head unit. I don’t think you can pick contours with the remote…. pretty simple on the head unit you just cursor over to a line and select it and select a direction. Check out the instructional videos on Jason Halfens website. Very good videos and explinations there.
By the head unit are you referring to the Humminbird?
