F150 Yamaha Titl and Trim problem

I found myself with some unexpected time to get out on the water with the boat for the first time this year. I scrambled to put the battery in and connected the wires to the F150 backward got lots of sparks. Switched the leads to the correct set up and now it won’t turn over nor does the tilt and trim work.

I also have a Yamaha t8 installed it tilts and starts fine.

Any idea what I can do to sort it out?

I did check the fuses on the F150 and they seem fine.

Not to sound like a smart arse but is the battery charged completely?

Good question and I did confirm it is fully charged.

There is a square 50amp fuse that is probably blown. It should be right with the other fuses under the cowling. That is more than likely the issue

    Eric,

The fuse looked OK but once I swapped it the tilt and trim and starter worked. Thanks for the Help!

Its a tricky one to look at and see that its blown but its usually that one if nothing on the motor works!
