Is it possible to flip the motor around so you back troll while running the motor in the forward position? I just saw a video on you tube with Dan Sura from Linders Angling Edge and he must have re-wired it or something. Anyone ever do this?
I used to flip the heads on the Minnkota’s all the time. Don’t currently use an electric on the transom but I’m sure if you looked up the schematic, it’s usually a screw or two and just reverse the head. 
Did the same thing on old transom mount Minn kota. One screw at the base of the head, loosen that and spin head. Put screw back in. Used a transom mount on front of first boat I owned. Worked fine.
Yes, Very simple to do. Like posted already just loosen screw at base of the head and flip the head around. then tighten back down.
Yes, easy to do on the Traxxis. I did it on mine, just watch the wires when you turn the head 180 degrees. It works great.
