While I think that most visual gimmicks are usually gimmicks, this looks to be something truly groundbreaking. Makes a lot of sense to anyone who has ever sight fished.
That hunting motion is was makes for a better crankbait or any bait for that matter. Part of the difference to me from Bass Baits to Walleye baits is I believe the cranks that have more of a rolling action versus a hard side to side action.
Wonder how they will run at trolling speeds 3 MPH plus. Many baits can run under 3 but not many over with out blowing out.
Not the first shad bait to “kick out” on a retrieve. Hope they work better than the old Reef Runner 200-400 Rip Shads. Or at the very least not have to tune them on every fish or after they tick bottom!
My thoughs exactly, looks like you could put in some really nice cadences, but how much tuning is going to be needed to keep it from eventually doing barrel rolls? Out of the box? after each fish?
Anything make these different from the Hot ‘n Tots?
The Scatter Rap have a completely different swimming action than the Tots. Check out some of the underwater videos. I’ve never seen anything like that from a crankbait.
