Has anyone had ex[perience with the new lithium batteries? Just saw a commerical about them and wonder if anyone uses them. Do they last longer, how much do they cost?

    Thanks

Yikes that’s crazy! Maybe if you were a pro w/ sponsor money. That kinda ching would buy a nice finder or i-pilot if it were in my pocket! If your worried about a battery dying in the middle of the day. You could buy 2 or 3 backups and still be money ahead!

If you had the need for it the price would be right. Would guess this is a popular battery with off shore boats that dont have easy access to charge the batteries. Pretty easy for a MN boy to find a extension cord to plug in the charger.

That and think of how much they could lighten a tournament load. After doing a little bit of research I found a 24V marine battery that floated in water…

Put enough flotation foam around something and anything could float!

    Seriously though, it will float?

    Hard to believe… I’m a skeptic.

If you need a battery that will not sink there may be some bigger issues with the boat.

    Small enough.

    Light enough.

    Dollars, well, enough.
