I have a decent travel cover for my 16 foot Lund but it’s starting to show it’s age. No gaping holes or anything, mainly the seams are staring to come apart. I’d like to fix it before I have to replace it. Anyone know a good way to get this done?

    Thanks guys

Clam sent me some patches for my ice shack. I had extras and used them on my boat cover and it has worked well for several years on small holes and a tear or two. Seams going is a different matter. You may want to compare getting a new one vs the cost of going to a tent maker.

Try canvas craft.. don’t know what they can do to help you but I love my fish houses from them.

I’ll second Canvas Craft. They do very nice work there. Might not be the cheapest. But the work will be done right and they will get you in and out in a day.

You can do this 2 ways. Bring boat with cover on and then show them all of the areas you want worked on. Or, put the cover on at home and take some chalk and mark up all the areas you want repaired or reinforced. Then just drop off the cover.

+3 Canvas Craft. Mine blew out on the seams and they did a great job repairing it.

Tarps Inc. Savage, MN on Hwy 13. 952-890-9390. They keep my boat covers in great condition. Good, prompt, friendly service.
