Kicker Installation Help Needed

I’m installing a kicker that I picked up for my Crestliner Fishhawk 1750. The guy who sold it to me also included the parts. Does this look correct? The only issue I see is when I trim my primary motor up the tie bar moves with it and I am afraid it will bind?? Do I have this set up right?

    Thanks for help & comments!

looks fine on the top to me. my concern is to make sure you have a long enuf shaft to get into ‘good’ water so your prop doesn’t ‘air’ out on you. if it’s not going down far enuf, put it on an adjustable trans extender so you can drop it down.

I had that set up on boat a while back. There is a quick disconnect on the main motor side. I only connected the kicker when needed for trolling. Otherwise, I laid the kicker over to one side and bunjied it down when not in use.

Yes, as you trim the main motor up the connector will tilt forward. The more you trim = the more the connector tilts.
Lets assume that right now the connector tilts from 12 o’clock to 3 o’clock. If that looks like it will bind, maybe you should adjust the initial position so that it tilts from say 11 o’clock to 2 o’clock?
