    Hey anyone have or know where to find the “linkage shifter detent” for my motor? Broke it in Ontario last week. Tried Nelsons and Twin city outboard and had none.. Thanks…

    yes it is and they say it’s unavailible.

    That’s weird, even Evinrude’s site says it is unavailable. You may have to call an Evinrude dealer to find one. They are usually linked up as far as parts go, and will point you in the right direction or order it.

    the parts don’t look that bad, if you don’t find one you may have to just make one. Do you have the old part?

    Have your local Evinrude dealer do a search on “Dealerport”. They can look up old parts at all dealers nationwide. You will need the part number. There are alot of older dealers that have old parts in stock. Hope this helps you out.

    Did you try eBay? Seriously. If you have the part number, it can’t hurt to have a look. I’ve found used outboard parts on there before.

    I’ve tried Hanney’s and no they don’t have. Been trying Robbindale marine and they aren’t answering phones. Maybe will have to make…. Thanks for all your help. Tom

    I got hold of Robbinsdale last night and they didn’t have one .So they did a dealers search and none to be found. Where does Steve Hanson work?
