I can’t recall the name but it sounds like the same product I used. There is a bit of technique involved as far as heat control etc. But once you get that down it really works well.
If it’s the same thing they demo it by patching holes in aluminum pop cans. I destroyed a few cans (too much heat) before I got it down. Once I did, I was successful welding a bracket to reinforce a seat on an alum utility boat. That was about 5 years ago. I’ve since sold the boat, but believe that repair is still holding.
