Shimano Rod Question

I had a $40 gift certificate for the local sporting goods store so I bought a 6’6″ Shimano Clarus meium spinning rod (very nice). I plan on using it for rigging walleyes majority of the time or some bobber fishing. I may do some fishing for smallmouth this year too. They do have a 7′ model or a 6’2″ model also. Has anyone ever used this rod? Should I exchange it for the 7′ or the 6’2″? I am also wondering what size reel I should put on it.

I bought one a year ago. I love it. You’d never go wrong going to 7′. It’s a great plastic throwing rod and I’ve used it lindy rigging also. Equally effective for smallies and walleye. Great stick for that price point. Compre’s are on sale at gander for 39.99. Can’t go wrong for that price.
