Just got a Mr. Pike. I also bought a minnkota deck hand 40. I cannot fit both the trolling motor and the electric anchor on the bow. Has anyone has any experience with mount the electric motor part on the floor near the bow and running the rope through a pulley or two (similar to the way Anchormates are rigged). With the divet on the bow and the electrical component on the floor will there be too much strain on the pulley? I realize that the rope must enter the reel at a right angle and this is the only way that I can see doing it.
